Air Conditioning:  Please find the type of unit below and follow the suggestions.

Most of the houses Castle Property rents do not have central Air Conditioning. See if your house has air conditioning before proceeding.  If your house is not listed, then you do not have a central A/C system or a wall unit supplied by Castle Property..   Use the information below regarding "Window Units"

        Central A/C:  147 Campbell Street, 85 B North High Street, 
        Wall Units:    85 C - H North High Street , 548 E. Market (room 10)-
 

Central Unit:

1.   Check Thermostat and make sure it is on the "cool" or "A/C" setting.
2.    Make sure temperature on the thermostat is set BELOW the current room temperature. 
3.    If there is an "on/off" switch on the thermostat, make sure it is set to the "ON" position.
4.    Check your circuit panel (sometimes called fuse box) and check for any breakers in the "OFF" or not fully "ON" position.  Turn on the off breaker and reset the tripped one.  If the panel is marked A/C turn this one off for 5 seconds and turn back on.

5.    If it is still not working, please submit a Service Request for Air Conditioning

Wall Unit:

1.   Check Thermostat and make sure it is on the "cool" or "A/C" setting.
2.    Make sure temperature on the thermostat is set BELOW the current room temperature. 
3:    Check your circuit panel (sometimes called fuse box) and check for any breakers in the "OFF" or not fully "ON" position.  Turn on the off breaker and reset the tripped one.  If the panel is marked A/C turn this one off for 5 seconds and turn back on.

4.    If it is still not working, please submit a Service Request for Air Conditioning

Window Unit: 

1.   Check Thermostat and make sure it is on the "cool" or "A/C" setting.
2.    Make sure temperature on the thermostat is set BELOW the current room temperature. 
3.    Make sure the unit is plugged in.
4.    Plug a working item into the same outlet to test for power (use a radio or lamp)
5.    If the outlet is not working, reset you breaker for the circuit.  For more information on how to reset a breaker select resetting a breaker.
4.    If it is still not working and the A/C unit is being leased from Castle Property please submit a Service Request for Air Conditioning.  If the unit belong to a Tenant, the house manager will be billed for any service call.
